Glynn Pichon, a lifelong resident of Slidell, served as the District A City Council member from 2014-2018. In 2018, he was elected to serve as Councilman-at-Large. He is married, a proud father of five, and a member of fellowship at Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church. He attended Salmen High and went on to receive a BS in Microbiology and Chemistry from LSU in Baton Rouge. He continues to build a strong, successful career in the Louisiana chemical industry.
Councilman Pichon began serving the community in high school when he joined Kiwanis Key Club. Inspired to give back, he would eventually volunteer with Hospice, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, Slidell Boys and Girls Club, Stepping Stones Mentors, and Keep Slidell Beautiful. He began serving as the City of Slidell’s District A Planning and Zoning Commissioner in 2009 until elected to office in 2014. He is a 2013 graduate of Slidell Citizens Police Academy and a Certified First Responder. He is also a 2017 graduate of the Fire Department Citizens Academy.
