Sean Fadely

Sean Fadely represents District B on the Slidell City Council. A resident of the Spartan Trace neighborhood, Councilman Fadely is dedicated to fostering government transparency, fiscal responsibility, and community enrichment throughout Slidell.

Before entering local governance, Sean built a distinguished career in public service. He is a retired member of the United States Coast Guard, where he specialized in law enforcement operations a large scale incident coordination, and currently serves as the president of the Coast Guard Tactical Law Enforcement Association NOLA Chapter.

On the City Council, his work is driven by a commitment to a “transparency by design” approach to municipal governance. His primary initiatives include:

Fiscal Transparency: Advocating for accessible digital budget dashboards so residents can easily track city spending.

Infrastructure & Safety: Prioritizing critical local infrastructure improvements and optimized community resources.

Economic Growth: Streamlining local processes and introducing regulatory reductions to support Slidell’s business community.

Youth & Community: Expanding recreational initiatives and opportunities for local youth.

Sean and his wife, Michelle, are the proud parents of three children.
