Slidell Hosts Town Hall Meeting on Development Process and New Unified Development Code
Mayor Randy Fandal and the members of the Slidell City Council invite residents to attend a Town Hall Meeting on Monday, November 9, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. at the Slidell Municipal Auditorium.
The meeting will focus on development in the City of Slidell, including the development process and the rules and regulations outlined in the City’s new Unified Development Code.
“There has been a lot of misinformation circulating in our community, and the purpose of this meeting is to make sure our residents have accurate information about our development process and the new Unified Development Code,” said Mayor Randy Fandal. “We are here to serve the public, and we want to make sure everyone understands how the process works and the rules that guide development in our city. I encourage any of our residents who are interested to attend this meeting and become more informed.”
Representatives from the City’s Planning and Building Safety departments will provide information, explain how the development process works, and answer questions about the regulations that govern development within the City of Slidell. The presentation will be followed by a question-and-answer session, giving residents an opportunity to ask questions and learn more about the development process.
The Slidell Municipal Auditorium is located at 2056 Second Street in Olde Towne Slidell. The meeting is free and open to the public.
