Park FAQs

In order to utilize the pavilions, a reasonable fee & refundable deposit is required.

By City ordinance, a Slidell Police Officer must be present should alcohol be brought into the park.  If alcohol is being sold in the park, appropriate City and State permits must be obtained.

The splash pad at Heritage park runs from Memorial Day Weekend to Labor Day Weekend.

If you have rented a pavilion, an additional refundable deposit can be paid in order to have a seafood boil in all parks, with the exception of Heritage park where cooking is not allowed.

LEASHED dogs are allowed in all parks, with the exception of Heritage Park.  They are not allowed on the ball fields or in the playground areas.

With the rental of a pavilion, inflatable bounce houses and water slides are allowed to be setup.  They must be plugged into a generator and insurance is required, listing The City of Slidell as an additional insured.

Gymnasiums are open to the public, Monday – Friday, from 7:30-3:30 PM.   Photo identification is required upon entrance.

Most of our pavilions have electricity, but there are a few that do not.

Our registration for Summer Camp usually begins mid-April.  You can contact our office at (985) 646-4371 for additional information.

The Skate Park and Pickleball Courts are open daily from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM. Lights turn off at 9:30 PM, and the entire park closes at 10:00 PM.

No, the Skate Park is not supervised. All use is at your own risk. Riders should know their skill level and use the park accordingly.

Food, drink (except water), and glass containers are prohibited on the riding surfaces and courts to maintain cleanliness and safety.

Use of these facilities is at your own risk. The City of Slidell is not responsible for any injuries or accidents.
