City to Host Slidell Government Open House on August 27

Slidell Mayor Randy Fandal and the members of the Slidell City Council invite the public to join them for a special Slidell Government Open House on Thursday, August 27, from 6 to 7 p.m.

The open house will give residents an opportunity to learn more about the City of Slidell and get a behind-the-scenes look at how their local government operates. Guests will be able to tour the Slidell City Council Chambers and offices, meet and visit with Mayor Fandal and members of the Slidell City Council, and see where the business of the city takes place.

“This is a great opportunity for residents to meet their elected officials and learn more about the work that goes on every day to serve our community,” said Mayor Fandal. “We want City Hall to be a place where our residents feel welcome, informed, and connected to their local government.”

The Slidell Government Open House will be held in the Slidell City Council Chambers, located at 2045 Second Street on the third floor.

Residents are encouraged to stop by, take a tour, meet Mayor Fandal and the Slidell City Council members, and learn more about their local government.
