Robert Blvd. Road Repairs Continue October 5-10

The City of Slidell began replacing damaged concrete roadway panels on the first block of Robert Boulevard near Gause Boulevard last week. Additional work will continue this week.

The inside northbound lane of the 1200 block of Robert Boulevard and the northbound left-turn lane on Gause Boulevard will be closed for construction from Monday, October 5, through Saturday, October 10, 2026. Work will begin at approximately 2:30 a.m. each day to help minimize impacts on morning traffic.

During construction, northbound traffic on Robert Boulevard will not be able to access Tiger Drive. Motorists should follow posted detour signs and use caution when traveling through the construction area.

The City of Slidell apologizes for any inconvenience and encourages motorists to plan ahead and use alternate routes whenever possible.
