UPDATE: The Bayou Jam Patriot Day Concert featuring the Northshore Community Orchestra that was scheduled for this Saturday, Sept. 11, has been postponed until Sunday, Sept. 19. Please join us in Heritage Park on the 19th for a patriotic concert. The Slidell 9/11 Memorial Committee will hold a small ceremony to commemorate the 20th anniversary of 9/11 at 6 p.m. on Sept. 11 near the Monument Plaza in Heritage Park.

 

Get ready for another exciting season of great concerts in Heritage Park when the City of Slidell’s popular Bayou Jam fall concert series returns on Saturday, September 25, with a performance by the Box Office Giants at 5 p.m. Admission is free.

“Bayou Jam concerts are a great way to celebrate as a community,” said Slidell Mayor Greg Cromer. “We invite you to come enjoy a free concert in Heritage Park with your family and friends and start your Saturday night right here in Slidell!”

The schedule for the Bayou Jam Fall Concert Series 2021:
The Box Office Giants – Saturday, Sept. 25, 5 to 7 p.m.
Cuisine – Saturday, Oct. 9, 5 to 7 p.m.
• Halloween Bash with Vince Vance and the Valiants – Saturday, Oct. 30, 5 to 7 p.m.
Northshore Community Orchestra – Saturday, Nov. 6, 5 to 7 p.m.

Concert‐goers are invited to bring their chairs, blankets, ice chests and picnic baskets to the park to enjoy the free concerts. While the event is outdoors, attendees should follow all state mandated health and safety protocols and wear a mask if they go indoors to use the restroom facilities. Please note that park regulations prohibit pets in the park as well as the use of skateboards, scooters, barbeque grills and glass items.
