Slidell Department of Parks & Recreation
The Department of Parks and Recreation is dedicated to maintaining and managing Slidell’s 30 city parks and providing a variety of recreational programs and services for residents of all ages. Our mission is to enhance the quality of life in Slidell by offering safe, clean, and enjoyable outdoor spaces and community activities.
We oversee the maintenance and scheduling of all parks, manage youth and adult sports leagues, coordinate city beautification and landscaping projects, and support community events such as Christmas Under the Stars and Mardi Gras celebrations.
