White Linen and Lagniappe Returns to Olde Towne Slidell on August 8
Put on your best white linen and get ready for a night full of fun and entertainment in Olde Towne Slidell! Slidell Mayor Randy Fandal invites residents and visitors to the ninth annual White Linen and Lagniappe on Saturday, August 8, 2026, from 6 to 9 p.m.
This free, family-friendly event has become a summer tradition, bringing thousands of people to Olde Towne Slidell each August for an evening of live music, local art, delicious food, refreshing drinks, unique shopping, and lots of lagniappe.
“White Linen and Lagniappe has become one of Slidell’s favorite summer events,” said Mayor Randy Fandal. “Every year, our historic district comes alive with music, art, great food, and the community enjoying an evening together. I invite everyone to come experience all that Olde Towne has to offer while supporting our local businesses, restaurants, artists, and musicians.”
Live music will fill the streets throughout Olde Towne. Entertainment includes Audio Beach at the American Legion; Three Piece Mild at Antiques and Art on First; singers and songwriters from the OZONE Music Foundation at Audibert’s Bistreaux; Bayou Stampede at Brass Monkey; Overboard at Camellia City Pizza; Steve A Sings at the Crippin Residence; the Northshore Community Orchestra Jazz Ensemble at Green Oaks Apothecary; DJ Super Steve at the Kingsmen Social Club; Sara, Jim, and Jeff at Pontchartrain Investment Management; Fried Oyster Cult, Byron Daniels and the 5 Dead Dogs, and Rose Thorns at Saint August Maison; Be Kind Rewind at Southern Refillery; and Missi and Ray at Triangle Square.
Olde Towne’s restaurants and bars will be serving delicious food and cold drinks throughout the evening, including American Legion, Audibert’s Bistreaux, Brass Monkey, Camellia City Pizza, Fresco, The GOAT, Heidelbergs, Luna Tequila, Old Town Soda Shop, Olde Towne Pizza, Olde Towne Tavern, The Rodeo, Roots Plants and Coffee, Tacos & Beer, Triangle Square, and Whiskey and Ashe. Guests are encouraged to ask participating businesses about their White Linen and Lagniappe food and drink specials. Food vendors will also be serving throughout Olde Towne.
Olde Towne’s shops will remain open late and offer special White Linen and Lagniappe discounts during the event. Many businesses will also feature local artists and vendors both inside and outside their stores, giving visitors an opportunity to browse one-of-a-kind artwork, handcrafted items, antiques, home décor, jewelry, and unique gifts.
Victoria Brand, the official White Linen and Lagniappe 2026 poster artist, will be signing and selling copies of this year’s official event poster at Engel & Völkers.
White Linen and Lagniappe is hosted by the City of Slidell, Olde Towne Slidell Main Street, the Slidell Historic Antique Association, and the Olde Towne Merchants Association.
