Heritage Park Boat Launch Closed June 20-22 for Elite Solo Tour Slidell Shootout Redfish Tournament
In preparation for Elite Solo Tour Redfish Tournament, the City of Slidell is announcing that the Heritage Park Boat Launch will be closed June 20-22, 2024.
The boat launch will close at 10 p.m. on Wednesday, June 19 and reopen at 6 a.m. on Sunday, June 23. The public will be able to launch their boats (for no charge) at the Slidell Marine – Marina located at 36440 Old Bayou Liberty Road by Nathan’s Restaurant. Please park vehicles/trailers roadside on Bayou Liberty Road (LA433).
Elite is inviting the public them on Saturday, June 22, at 3 pm in Heritage Park for the live weigh in event that will be filmed and televised on the Discovery Channel.
