Page 43 – The City of Slidell, Louisiana

Over the next several weeks, Norfolk Southern Railroad will be performing maintenance work on the railroad tracks in the Slidell area. Several railroad crossings are tentatively scheduled to be closed for repairs, including:

• Gause Blvd. (US 190) – Saturday, January 13, 2024

• West Hall – Tuesday, January 16, 2024

• Brownswitch Rd. – coming soon

• North Blvd. – ?

Work on the crossings at Bayou Liberty and Fremaux Ave. should be completed.

These closures will affect traffic, so drivers are encouraged to use alternate routes if possible.

Other closures will be announced once Norfolk Southern Railroad notifies the City of Slidell.
