Lauren Murphy is a resilient and accomplished songwriter and vocalist deeply rooted in Louisiana’s musical landscape, making her home in a historic 125-year-old house in the marshes of Madisonville, one of Louisiana’s oldest settlements. Over the past two decades, she has built an impressive career collaborating with some of the nation’s premier musicians from California to New Orleans. Murphy’s musical journey has been shaped by profound personal experiences and loss. In 2022, she returned to South Louisiana, finding renewal in the region’s rich culture and musical heritage.
