A practicing artist and lifelong learner, Collins has earned two undergraduate degrees in art, as well as a Masters of Fine Arts from Memphis College of Art. She has been awarded both Assistant Professor and Associate Professor status from Kennesaw State University and a Directorship for arts programs at Southeastern Louisiana University.
