DESCRIPTION:The Slidell Photography Club and City of Slidell are pleased to present the “Slidell Photo Club Exhibit” at the Slidell Cultural Center.  The opening reception will be held on Friday\, May 6th\, from 7-9 p.m. and the exhibit will be on display at the Slidell Cultural Center from May 11th- June 10th.  Gallery hours are by appointment only Wednesdays through Fridays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Same-day viewings will be accommodated based on availability. Please call the Department of Cultural & Public Affairs at (985) 646-4375 for appointments. The Slidell Cultural Center is located at 2055 Second Street\, on the first floor of City Hall in Olde Towne Slidell. Admission is free.

DESCRIPTION:The City of Slidell invites public review and comment on its 2022 Community Development Block Grant Action Plan. The Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program is an annually funded entitlement program from the Department of Housing and Urban Development. \nAs part of the public review process\, the City will hold two public hearings for public comment on May 16\, 2022 from 1:30 PM to 2:30PM and on May 23\, 2022 from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM. Both meetings will be held in the Mayor’s Community Meeting Room\, First Floor\, 2055 Second Street\, Slidell\, LA. \n
